A multitude of dogs have owned me during most of my lifetime, and I have also owned many fish and frogs in aquariums. While the fish provide entertainment and a feast for my eyes as I watch their colorful spectacle, the dogs are my faithful friends and companions.

The underwater scene in this body of work represents denizens of the deep as my mind’s eye perceives them - some are quite realistic, others somewhat abstracted. The dog and cat sculptures, on the other hand, are whimsical portrayals of real pets my friends and I have known and loved. Some are sweet, some mischievous, some funny. I have tried to covey their true character.
